Using Wangie

What is Wangie?

The Wangie platform is a lifestyle conversation platform with know-how of emotional wellbeing, psychology and mindfulness.

It's a space where you can talk anonymously and openly, where there is always someone to talk to, but when therapy is not what you think of or need.

What is Wangie’s mission/goal?

Our mission is to create a space where there is always someone to talk to, filled with experts and mentors from various fields, and people from all walks of life - talking anonymously with no judgment.

How can I start using Wangie?

You can download our App through the App Store. We are only available on iOS for now.

Who is Wangie for?

For anyone who wants to talk and listen. Remember that in order to use our platform you need to be at the legal age in your country.

Is there a limit to how long I can use Wangie?

There is no limit in place although we recommend you take breaks and are mindful of your screen time. It’s good to get off your phone every few hours and rest.

I’m going through/I’m in a crisis. Can you help me?

We do not have tools or training to help people in crisis. The only way we can assist you if you are going through a crisis is to provide you with a phone number to people trained in helping with such situations. Ask in any of our rooms and the number will be provided to you. We might be able to offer such assistance in the future.

Can I advertise my business on Wangie?

If you would like to find out please send us an email at

Are there any subjects that are not allowed on Wangie?

Wangie is for TALKING. About anything you want and need to. But always remember: be sensible, kind and sensitive to other people.

Can I request a Room to be created?

We are growing fast and this is definitely something we want to enable as fast as possible! In the meantime if you would like to suggest a room please send us an email at and we will take it into account in our future room updates.

What if I go into a room and there’s no one there?

There is always someone on Wangie, that’s just what we are about :)

How can I find someone on Wangie?

We created Wangie to fight loneliness and to let people feel part of something bigger which is why there is no way to have direct conversations with other members at this point.

How can I find a Moderator on Wangie?

There are moderators in each room, so you can just type in a room whatever you'd like to ask them.

We can't guarantee that the same person will join the same room each time.

If you are in danger or there is any kind of urgency or emergency on your side please reach for specific help under 911 or you can ask for the number to a specific country helpline in any of our rooms.

Can I get therapy through Wangie?

We are unable to offer therapy. If you believe you need therapy you will need to find a platform or place that offers this kind of service.

Is Wangie free to use? / How much does it cost?

Having a conversation on Wangie is and always will be free. We will be creating premium features in the future but for now simply enjoy talking.
